This website was launched by Shaun Connell in May of 2011. That’s me. While I wouldn’t be considered a “pure” stoic by any means, I’m a huge fan of many of the stoic principles explained by Epictetus.

This website was launched to give readers a coherent look at both stoic philosophy and the philosopher Epictetus. I’m also currently working launching a website on Seneca the Younger, and Letters From a Stoic, one of the most important writings in the history of stoicism.
